Patrick O’Brien is a fearless and relentlessly inspiring filmmaker who has transformed his battle with ALS into a twenty year long, raw, and unexpectedly life-affirming creative exploration, culminating in his acclaimed documentary TransFatty Lives. A film school graduate whose early work already showcased his boundary-pushing vision, Patrick refused to let complete paralysis silence him. Instead, he is still directing his deeply personal story capturing the humor, pain, and surprising beauty of his experience. His unwavering confidence, sense of mischief, and drive to provoke and inspire in every frame, making him not just a survivor but a true artist who has expanded the possibilities of first-person cinema.

Evan Mathis is a three time Emmy winning multi-disciplinary creative whose passion for making things fuels his award-winning work. He has built a career weaving his diverse passions into projects honored by One Show, Clios, Promax BDA, the Emmys and more. He has served on judging panels for Promax BDA, The Television Academy, and SXSW Interactive, and his work has been featured in outlets including Adweek, Ad Age, Variety, and Sports Illustrated. Evan has shared his expertise by speaking at design conferences worldwide, and takes pride in collaborating with a lot of remarkable people at leading companies across the entertainment and advertising industries.
